I decided to have crack at a mood board challenge. I like challenges as it makes me use colours I wouldn't usually use- like red. Have used mostly Heidi Swapp here with September Skies papers and some of her Project Life Foil Kit embellishments and colourshine alphas. Also featuring an Amy Tangerine stitched vellum pocket and one strip of Studio Calico paper. Finished off with some APOCD flair of course! The Merci title represents my gratitude to my very good friend Bri.

Using up scraps- still at it!
Well I am still being very good using up all my old bits and pieces before diving into my new kits that are patiently awaiting (you can imagine the restraint involved here). I really loved these papers and couldn't bear to throw away the leftovers so am happy I have used them up.

Set Sail- D'Lish Challenge Feb.
d-lishscraps.blogspot.com.au
Decided to have a crack at a challenge! This is for D'Lish Scraps February Challenge- Beachside Bliss. I have used the colourboard (adding some yellow!) and stuck loosely to the sketch as well. I used a mask and gesso to add some hearts to the back ground paper and mainly its just some cutting and pasting! Belinda Ryan.
Using up scraps...
This week I decided to use up some scraps that i had from previous kits. I couldn't bare to throw them out so i threw together a couple of quick layouts.Bright and colourful!
More Jan Scrappin
More January Scrappin! Yeah i really am on a role this month! My best scrappy friend Bec came over and we scrapped all arvo and night. I had made some 'pretty' kits earlier in the week so they came together easily- the baby layouts based on a layout I saw in a magazine ages ago and loved. a Dear Lizzy layout of course (still love Dear Lizzy) and one I just threw together for Alices last school photo.
Photo Wall
Hi again! In my time off I decided to get some of my frames up on the wall. Have been meaning to do this since moving into our house a year ago. theyve been sitting in boxes.... My husband is away so its a great time to make changes around the house without any opposition (lol). so i tried really hard not to over think it and these were all frames i already had. Im pretty happy with how it turned out!
Kits
I am just loving using kits at the moment and have decided that it is the way to go. Having all the coordinating papers, embellshments, alphas etc saves a lot of thinking time! So from now on I am going to buy kits and/or make my own. sometimes i might have an hour where I dont really want to start a layout so Ill just pull everything out, match some photos with the some papers and pretties and set it aside in a bag to use as a kit next time i have some scrappy time or next retreat. Speaking of Retreat..... Only 6 weeks until 2015 Escape to Create Scrapbooking Retreat here in Port Lincoln! I cant wait!! 3 nights and 4 days of scrappin.
January scrappin...
Well It's 2015 and in January my mojo kicked in. This has a lot to do with the fact that I have taken 3 months off from Uni and a month off of work! (= TIME for ME!). On this particular day I headed to my sisters place, kids in tow and managed to pump out 4 layouts using some kits as well as bits and pieces. Top left was November A piece of Cake Designs kit- love this kit so much! Top Right was using up a 6x6 pad I have and some old leftover rub ons. Bottom Left was some Crate Paper goodies- I an IN LOVE with Crate Paper at the moment- the pinks and golds! and Bottom right was A Piece of Cake Designs cup cake kit from last year that i still have bits leftover from.
